This is a full-time quality control laboratory position based in Saint Louis, MO. You'll work in our microbiology lab environment, conducting routine and specialized testing on our product line. What You'll Do
- Perform microbiology testing procedures including culture preparation, incubation, and analysis
- Conduct quality control testing on products and raw materials according to established protocols
- Prepare and sterilize culture media and laboratory equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all testing activities and results in laboratory information systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper function and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and proper laboratory procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in validation studies and process improvements within the microbiology department
Who We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent, with laboratory experience preferred
- Knowledge of microbiology principles and laboratory techniques
- Ability to follow detailed laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative laboratory team
- Physical ability to perform laboratory tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
- Willingness to adhere to quality and safety standards in a regulated environment
