About This Position

This is a full-time opportunity to become a core member of our quality assurance team at VWR's Irving, Texas facility. As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a vital role in inspecting, testing, and verifying products and materials to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards. Your Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of products and materials against established quality specifications and industry standards
• Perform precise measurements and testing using calibrated instruments and equipment
• Document test results, observations, and findings in quality management systems and reports
• Identify and flag defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities, escalating issues through proper channels
• Maintain organized records of quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in quality control processes
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and precision
• Experience with quality control inspection, testing, or similar technical roles preferred
• Familiarity with quality control instruments, measurement tools, or testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Proficiency with computers and data entry; experience with quality management systems a plus
• Clear communication skills and ability to document findings clearly
• Dependability and ability to work methodically in a structured environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in quality assurance welcome
