Senior Industry Adviser, UK Pensions Administration

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm seeking a Senior Industry Adviser with deep UK pensions administration experience. This is a focused advisory role where you will provide independent practical checks on technology assessment findings for client organizations undergoing pension system changes.

Assignments are typically short and focused—around two days per engagement—split between reviewing findings and final reports. This is ideal for an experienced independent adviser who values flexibility and remote working arrangements within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Review findings about pensions administration systems and their connections to other services
• Test proposed technology and operating changes against operational needs, service quality, and delivery constraints
• Challenge weak assumptions about internal teams, suppliers, and transition risks
• Help technology architects distinguish genuine business requirements from platform preferences
• Review relevant recommendations and explain practical concerns clearly to stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with client specialists while respecting their existing pensions knowledge

What We're Looking For

• Senior operational, consulting, or technology leadership experience in UK pensions administration
• Direct knowledge of administration processes, data quality, system interfaces, and supplier delivery
• Proven experience reviewing technology or operating changes affecting pensions services
• Ability to give independent advice without promoting a particular platform or supplier
• Confidence discussing findings with senior technology and business leaders
• Ability to disclose and manage relevant conflicts of interest before accepting assignments

Pay
