About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare organization that is building out its behavioral health team. We're seeking a Behavioral Health Care Manager licensed in California or Hawaii for a fully remote position, Monday through Friday.
Please note: This is an evergreen search. We are building a qualified talent pipeline for current and upcoming openings. Candidates may be contacted as positions become available, and timelines will vary based on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned patient caseload, delivering targeted behavioral health support that integrates with physical healthcare
- Provide brief, evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to the clinical setting
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders
- Facilitate patient engagement, follow-up care, and education on treatment options
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor for changes in clinical symptoms, side effects, or complications
- Support psychotropic medication management by monitoring adherence, side effects, and treatment effectiveness
- Develop trusted working relationships with partner practice teams
- Collaborate with clinicians and practice staff to identify and intake patients needing behavioral health support
What We're Looking For
- Active clinical license in California or Hawaii: LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or LMFT
- 5+ years of relevant experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology settings (preferred)
- Dedication to providing evidence-based care with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Prior experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
- Passion for delivering quality behavioral health care
- Adaptability as priorities evolve and processes are continuously improved
