Senior Strategy Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to provide analytical and strategic leadership within their design operations. This is a fully remote position available anywhere in the United States.

Our client works on complex infrastructure projects requiring precision and scalability. In this role, you'll partner with department leadership to drive strategic initiatives, develop executive reporting, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

You will independently lead strategic analyses and business intelligence efforts:

• Structure and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses supporting departmental strategic priorities
• Synthesize information from multiple sources to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
• Translate ambiguous business problems into logical analyses and actionable recommendations
• Develop business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses for leadership decisions
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Power BI and Excel
• Design and implement data visualization solutions to track key business indicators
• Document current-state processes and develop future-state workflows
• Build process maps, templates, and collaboration tools using SharePoint and Microsoft 365
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools to improve efficiency
• Support strategic initiative planning, coordination, and status tracking
• Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations and materials for senior audiences
• Provide analytical guidance and quality review for junior team members

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, or related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, business analytics, or related function
• Proven experience conducting quantitative analyses and developing data-driven recommendations
• Demonstrated ability creating professional presentations, analytical models, and business reporting
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear analytical approaches
• Excellent communication skills across organizational levels
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment

Strongly preferred:

• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
• Background in architecture, engineering, construction, or related industries
• Experience supporting senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives

Additional requirements:

• Travel up to 10% may be required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
