Blockchain Security Expert – Security Audit Track

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential blockchain security organization seeking a Blockchain Security Expert to join their Security Audit Track. Our client operates at the intersection of cybersecurity and blockchain technology, providing critical security services for smart contracts, protocols, and decentralized systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security challenges in the Web3 space.

As a Security Engineer, you will perform comprehensive security assessments across blockchain systems, working directly with clients and contributing to the evolution of security products and services in this rapidly growing field.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end security services, including consulting, reviewing, auditing, verifying, testing, and delivering detailed security assessments for blockchain systems such as smart contracts, web3 protocols, L1/L2/L3 infrastructures, and dApps
• Conduct comprehensive manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, logical flaws, economic attacks, and non-obvious edge cases across Solidity, Golang, Rust, or other blockchain languages
• Develop and refine threat models and attack surfaces, covering economic, technical, operational, and trust-assumption risks for blockchain protocols
• Design and execute security tests, including property-based testing and gas-related analysis
• Engage directly with clients to communicate security findings and requirements
• Track emerging security problems and trends in the blockchain ecosystem

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Security, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
• Specialist-level knowledge of cybersecurity and security auditing
• Ability to write and deploy smart contracts/blockchain infrastructure and write tests with frameworks
• Familiarity with classic attack vectors and vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, sandwich attacks, overflow/underflow
• Strong ability to triage and manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, with ability to effectively communicate technical security concepts to clients and internal teams
• Prior hands-on security auditing experience (preferred)
