Account Executive, Commercial

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for an Account Executive, Commercial based in London. Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the API infrastructure space, and we're seeking an experienced sales professional to drive new business across mid-market enterprise accounts.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll be the primary point of contact for prospects and play an integral role in the company's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Sell enterprise platform solutions to commercial and mid-market accounts
• Meet and exceed individual quota, objectives, and KPIs
• Build and manage your book of business, including understanding buying criteria, documenting processes, and maintaining accurate pipeline data
• Work leads through to closure with evidence-based sales approaches
• Collaborate with pre-sales, post-sales, channel partners, customer success, and leadership teams to drive new business
• Serve the Nordics market using fluency in Swedish language
• Focus on territory planning and generating revenue from outbound pipeline development

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in Swedish is required to effectively manage and serve the Nordics market
• 2+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to small to mid-size organizations
• Background in open source, APIs, or infrastructure software is highly desirable
• Strong track record in new business development and consistently exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• Experience with territory planning and outbound pipeline generation
• Knowledge of MEDDIC and Challenger sales methodologies is a plus
• Experience hunting and closing net new logos as a top performer
• Creative approach to sourcing companies outside of traditional CRM tools
• Fast-growing startup or early-stage company experience preferred
• Motivated, collaborative, driven, and results-oriented mindset
