Werkstudent*in Finance (Schwerpunkt Accounting/Controlling)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential organization in München seeking a working student to support their finance team with a focus on accounting and controlling.

In this role, you will:

• Learn the practical application of modern AI tools to support analyses, reporting, and forecasting processes for data-driven decision-making
• Assist with analyses, reports, and preparation materials for monthly performance review meetings
• Create outgoing invoices and customer invoices, and handle invoice inquiries and changes as part of accounts receivable management
• Support the recording and posting of incoming invoices, travel expense reports, and credit card statements
• Gain valuable insights into accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and potentially participate in payment runs and monthly/annual closings
• Contribute your own ideas for process optimization and development of billing-related workflows

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university for at least 3 more semesters, ideally studying business administration or a comparable field
• Available to work 16-20 hours per week
• Strong numerical aptitude with careful, detail-oriented work approach and ability to maintain overview even with complex tasks
• Interest in analytical tasks and business contexts, along with enthusiasm for working with numbers
• Quick comprehension skills and meticulous working style
• Strong communication skills, engaged, and able to work independently
• Fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
