Senior Product Analyst (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join their Product & Tech team in London. In this hands-on role, you will partner with cross-functional product teams to turn quantitative evidence into actionable insights that drive product strategy and measurable outcomes.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Acting as the analytics partner for product teams, shaping strategy through data-driven insights and supporting discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and delivery
• Transforming strategic goals and product hypotheses into clear, measurable outcomes and success metrics
• Analyzing customer journeys, funnels, conversion rates, activation, feature adoption, engagement, retention, and customer segmentation
• Using product and business data to identify behavioral patterns, friction points, and opportunities for improvement or growth
• Supporting prioritization decisions by establishing baselines, sizing opportunities, and quantifying potential customer and business impact
• Leveraging product analytics platforms to explore customer behavior, create cohorts, and build reusable dashboards
• Improving analytics consistency through metric definitions, event taxonomies, dashboard templates, and clear documentation
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering to define tracking requirements, address implementation gaps, and ensure accurate data capture
• Designing and evaluating product experiments by defining hypotheses, primary and guardrail metrics, and interpreting results
• Creating clear dashboards and visualizations that connect customer behavior with commercial outcomes
• Combining quantitative analysis with qualitative research and customer feedback to understand both what customers do and why
• Communicating findings through concise narratives, visualizations, and practical recommendations
• Building data confidence and independence within product teams
• Driving best practices for product measurement and experimentation across the organization

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings proven product analytics experience and a track record of influencing product decisions through data:

• Experience in product analytics or a product-focused data role, working directly with digital product teams
• Understanding of how Product, Design, Research, and Engineering collaborate in cross-functional environments
• Strong track record of using behavioral product data to uncover insights and influence product decisions
• Ability to move beyond reporting what happened to explain why it matters and what teams should do next
• Proficiency in SQL and comfort exploring large or complex datasets
• Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or equivalent tools
• Experience supporting product experiments and A/B tests, including defining hypotheses, success metrics, and interpreting results
• Understanding of product instrumentation, event taxonomies, tracking plans, and metric definitions
• Experience defining product KPIs, measurement frameworks, and appropriate success and guardrail metrics
• Ability to translate ambiguous product or business problems into focused analytical questions
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working across different product areas and balancing deeper analysis with faster questions that maintain team momentum
