About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing logistics technology company based in Nuremberg. Our client is building intelligent software infrastructure that digitizes complex terminal and depot operations. As their recruiting partner, we're seeking an experienced Product Owner to take ownership of product direction, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery in a meaningful SaaS environment.
This is a full-time role requiring in-office presence in Nuremberg (or Munich) at least three days per week. You'll work closely with engineering, sales, and operations teams to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on customer value and business objectives
- Own user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications that guide development
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and manage agile processes to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to align on product vision, priorities, and timelines
- Ensure product outputs meet UX standards, quality benchmarks, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Communicate product goals, progress, and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identify product opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
- Manage multiple projects autonomously from initial requirements through implementation
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for product-related topics across all teams
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of Product Owner experience in a SaaS environment
- Native German speaker with fluency in English
- Proven experience working with Scrum and agile development methodologies
- Strong background in specifying requirements and developing user and technical stories
- Solid understanding of software development, technology, and digital products
- Ability to quickly grasp complex processes and technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging C-level executives, internal teams, and customers
- Strong organizational abilities with comfort managing and prioritizing competing requirements
- Based in Nuremberg, Munich, or surrounding area with ability to work from office at least three days per week
Required Tools & Technologies:
- Experience with Jira or similar project management platforms
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design and collaboration tools
- Experience working with CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the logistics industry
- Experience working in startup or scale-up environments
