Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join their product team. In this role, you will:

  • Plan and execute research across the full spectrum, from foundational studies shaping immediate product decisions to strategic work influencing long-term user experience vision and goals
  • Work closely with product managers, product designers, and engineers across multiple product areas, getting involved early while problems are still being defined
  • Own projects end to end: scoping questions, choosing methods, running studies, and turning findings into clear recommendations
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative methods including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, unmoderated testing, and behavioral and market data, triangulating insights rather than relying on single sources
  • Leverage AI in daily research work and help shape how the team applies emerging tools
  • Contribute to the research repository and make insights reusable so teams can build on existing knowledge
  • Benchmark competitors and triangulate findings with primary customer research to identify real opportunities
  • Run workshops, develop formats that make insights actionable, and follow through until findings influence decisions

What We're Looking For

  • Native or near-native German proficiency and fluent English, as the majority of customer and seller interviews are conducted in German
  • Several years of experience in qualitative and quantitative user research with in-depth expertise in UX methods
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer-centric agile product development
  • Strong foundation in either qualitative or quantitative research while actively building the other, with good understanding of statistical methods and analytical thinking
  • Knowledge of how to conduct research at different stages of product development (generative setting, solution validation, or end-to-end)
  • Proactive approach, enjoy taking ownership of topics, and feel confident presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Pragmatic scoping skills, balancing speed and depth for decisions at hand, with current use of AI tools in practice
  • Enthusiasm for working in a small, close-knit team where people share work early, support each other, and learn together
