Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential organization seeking an ESG Analyst focused on compliance and reporting. In this role, you will support Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting ESG data to ensure compliance with global reporting standards and stakeholder expectations.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Gathering ESG-related data from internal systems, external databases, and third-party sources while ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights to improve efficiency across ESG metrics
- Analyzing ESG metrics to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to leadership
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and HR to gather data and align ESG goals
- Staying current on evolving ESG regulations to ensure reporting meets legal and industry standards
- Preparing ESG reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and UNSDGs
- Contributing to annual sustainability reports and stakeholder disclosures
- Managing and visualizing ESG data using designated internal platforms
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a related analytical or reporting role
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with database management and data warehousing
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability standards
- Knowledge of main ISO standards applicable to ESG
- Experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or corporate responsibility
- Certifications such as GRI Certified Sustainability Professional or SASB Fundamentals
