Managing Consultant – Global Construction

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm seeking a Managing Consultant - Global Construction to join their expanding practice. Our client specializes in construction claims, dispute resolution, and litigation support, combining engineering expertise with analytical rigor to serve clients across complex infrastructure and building projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes construction disputes, providing technical analysis, schedule reviews, and expert support across diverse projects. You'll collaborate with seasoned professionals while maintaining the independence to drive your own workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Support construction claims and dispute resolution matters including delay analysis, disruption assessment, and productivity studies
• Develop, review, and analyze project schedules using P6, MSP, and other scheduling platforms to determine critical path delays and project impacts
• Prepare and analyze change orders, cost estimates, and time extension requests
• Conduct construction defect analysis and standard of care evaluations
• Perform detailed research and data analysis; create and maintain electronic databases and project documentation libraries
• Organize case documents and retrieve materials to support expert testimony and discovery services
• Audit work product to ensure quality and accuracy across deliverables
• Communicate findings through technical reports and presentations to support client objectives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management; MS or MBA highly preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of field experience in the construction industry
• Demonstrated expertise in cost estimating, change order pricing, and claims management
• Strong proficiency in schedule development and analysis (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other platforms)
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, authoritative reports
• Experience working collaboratively with and leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and travel for client work as needed
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Pay

This position is located in the United States and offers remote work flexibility with travel as needed. The original employer's compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 per year. Get A Job.ai's fee structure is separate and paid by the hiring organization.
