Senior Medical Writer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare communications organization seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their team. This fully remote role supports projects across Germany, with flexibility to work from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, or Hamburg.

In this position, you will:

• Develop high-quality scientific and medical content solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients
• Provide medical-scientific expertise and consultation on client projects, ensuring the highest quality standards across all medical communication initiatives
• Create scientific media including manuscripts, presentations, digital assets, training materials, and Interactive Visual Aids (IVAs)
• Conduct scientific research and data analysis while developing compelling medical-scientific narratives
• Supervise and mentor junior medical writers, providing guidance and supporting their professional development

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Completed degree in natural sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field (PhD advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years of professional medical writing experience in a healthcare agency (Rx) or pharmaceutical company
• Strong medical-scientific writing skills with the ability to present complex data clearly, precisely, and in an audience-appropriate manner
• Experience in literature research, critical evaluation of scientific data, and development of relevant key messages
• Ability to independently develop scientific narratives and communication concepts while providing content guidance on projects
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
