About This Opportunity

Our client is a confidential AI research organization working at the forefront of generative technology. We are representing them in their search for a Music Evaluator specializing in Hindi-language content. This is a fully remote contract role ideal for music professionals who can assess AI-generated compositions and lyrics with cultural and linguistic expertise.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres against detailed quality standards
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and identify similarities, differences, and creative elements
• Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality
• Assess naturalness of lyrics including word choice, slang usage, and regional expressions appropriate to Hindi
• Work independently and asynchronously while maintaining flexible hours to meet project milestones
• Provide thoughtful, detailed feedback that helps improve generative music systems

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• Professional experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist
• Strong knowledge of the Hindi music scene and contemporary trends
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening and evaluation
• Availability of 20+ hours per week for up to 6 months

Preferred:

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
• Credited or published songwriting work
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Hindi genres, sub-genres, and artists
