About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential legal technology organization in their search for a Senior Software Engineer based in London. Our client is transforming how legal professionals work through an AI-native platform that processes complex documentation and powers end-to-end workflows. They serve major law firms and financial institutions across 50+ countries.
This role offers the opportunity to build impactful features across the full technology stack with genuine ownership and autonomy. You'll work directly on products used by legal teams worldwide, balancing code quality, security, and delivery speed.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end features for web platforms
- Take ownership of the codebase while maintaining high quality, security standards, and development velocity
- Work with modern technologies including TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to strengthen team capabilities
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering practices and technical decisions
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience building products with cutting-edge technologies
- Comfort working across the full technology stack, with particular strength in either frontend or backend development
- Autonomous work style with pride in code quality and craftsmanship
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases and control flows
- Problem-solving approach that values simple, pragmatic architecture with clear ability to explain trade-offs
- Experience with infrastructure and integrations is a significant advantage
