Werkstudent (Mensch) Business Intelligence & Business Development

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media intelligence organization seeking a working student to support their Growth Team in client relationship development and new business acquisition. You'll combine strong analytical thinking with a hands-on mentality to drive both technical and operational projects.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Dashboard Development: Advance existing PowerBI dashboards and create dynamic, interactive reporting options for different stakeholders
• Data Preparation & Visualization: Develop compelling visualizations by bringing together multiple data sources and presenting insights clearly
• Automation: Support the team in building PowerApp applications and automating workflows through flows
• Process Optimization: Contribute your own ideas to continuously improve data quality and reporting structure efficiency
• New Business & Pitch Support: Flexibly assist the team with pitch materials preparation and day-to-day operations, applying common sense and solution-oriented approaches

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical capabilities and business acumen:

• Analytical Understanding & Business Sense: You enjoy working with data and BI tools while thinking beyond the immediate task. You bring a pragmatic, implementation-focused mindset and can quickly adapt to new requirements
• Technical Skills: Practical experience with data visualization in Power BI, solid knowledge of creating macros and automations, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Power Apps: Initial exposure to Power Apps is a significant plus
• Language Skills: Excellent German language skills in written and spoken form (mandatory, as you'll work with German-language pitch content) plus good English skills for working in an international team
• Education: Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, Social Sciences with methodology focus, or comparable analytical program
• Location: Based in or around Hamburg to collaborate regularly with the team in the office
