Outbound Forklift

Join Sysco at our FreshPoint Kona facility as an Outbound Forklift Operator in a full-time position. We're looking for a dependable, safety-conscious operator to support our high-volume produce distribution operations.

Role Overview

As an Outbound Forklift Operator at FreshPoint Kona, you'll be a key member of our warehouse team, responsible for moving, stacking, and loading fresh produce and food products onto trucks for delivery to customers throughout the region. Sysco is a global food service leader, and our distribution centers keep restaurants, schools, and hospitality businesses supplied with quality ingredients. Your precision and attention to detail directly impact our customers' success.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment to move pallets and loads in the warehouse and loading dock areas
• Load and unload customer shipments onto delivery vehicles with accuracy and care
• Stack and organize products according to destination and load specifications
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
• Work as part of a team to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines
• Handle perishable products with proper care to maintain quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse or material handling experience a plus
• Commitment to safety and following warehouse procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Attention to detail and accuracy in load preparation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctual arrival
