Workday Adaptive Planning Senior

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior consultant. In this role, you will:

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines
• Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map business operations, define planning cycle goals, and identify key decision-making metrics
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from various ERP and source systems
• Help clients streamline financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time, allowing clients to focus on analysis and strategy
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective use of implemented tools and systems
• Mentor associate consultants and serve as a trusted project team member

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, management information systems, fin-tech, or information systems preferred
• Minimum 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience
• Minimum 1 year of corporate financial planning experience
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms for incorporating data from ERP systems
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial systems, or consulting preferred
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with experience working in or with FP&A teams preferred
• Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate business value and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel approximately 20%
