Work From Home Supporting Nonprofit Fundraising Campaigns

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential virtual services organization that connects skilled professionals with meaningful remote work supporting nonprofit fundraising efforts. We're seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals with customer service experience to process inbound donor calls for established charitable campaigns.

This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor role. You'll assist donors who are calling in response to fundraising campaigns—there is no cold calling, outbound dialing, or solicitation of any kind. Donors reach out voluntarily, and your role is to welcome them, accurately document their information, and process their donations or pledges with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from donors who are responding to nonprofit fundraising campaigns
• Follow approved scripts and procedures for each campaign
• Accurately enter donation and pledge information into multiple systems
• Confirm donor details and answer process-related questions
• Navigate multiple applications simultaneously during calls
• Protect confidential donor information and maintain compliance standards
• Maintain dependable attendance during your selected servicing intervals
• Meet quality and performance requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six months of remote customer service experience, or at least one year of onsite customer service experience
• Professional and welcoming phone presence
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills
• Accurate typing and data-entry abilities
• Comfort following scripts and structured processes
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Dedicated and quiet home workspace

Technology Requirements:

• Windows 11 computer (MacBooks, Chromebooks, and tablets are not compatible)
• Minimum 8GB RAM; 16GB recommended
• Noise-canceling USB headset
• Wired high-speed internet with direct Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi only is not compatible)
• Dual monitors recommended for easier navigation
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace

Pay

Most campaigns offer approximately $13–$15 per hour. Actual rates may vary depending on the specific campaign and individual performance. Some campaigns provide servicing availability across a 24-hour operating schedule, allowing contractors to choose from available intervals based on their preferences and campaign demand.
