Educational Consultant – Fully Remote | Upto $60/hr

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an Educational Consultant to work remotely from Canada. This fully remote contract role offers an opportunity to shape how artificial intelligence understands and supports educational contexts.

You'll work asynchronously with a research team to develop realistic teaching scenarios, evaluate AI-generated educational content, and provide expert feedback that improves AI performance in classroom and curriculum applications.

Responsibilities

• Design authentic educational scenarios and tasks reflecting real classroom work, including lesson planning and curriculum development
• Review and compare AI-generated educational outputs for accuracy, standards alignment, and pedagogical effectiveness
• Create structured examples that demonstrate educator reasoning and problem-solving approaches
• Provide clear, detailed written feedback to enhance AI understanding of teaching tasks
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to refine AI educational capabilities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of professional experience in education (K-12 or higher education teaching, curriculum design, assessment, special education, tutoring, or related fields)
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a subject-matter discipline
• Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail

Preferred:

• State teaching license or certification, National Board Certification, or advanced degree (MEd, EdD, PhD, or subject-area master's)
• Familiarity with classroom and instructional platforms
