Content Marketing Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing premium e-commerce client in the outdoor living space. They operate across multiple European markets and are building out their Scandinavian content team. As Content Marketing Manager, you will own organic social for a specific Nordic market, translating global content strategy into locally relevant campaigns and managing the community in their native language. This is a hands-on role focused on execution within established brand and SEO frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Adapt the global content calendar and brand pillars to fit local seasonality, holidays, and market-specific campaigns
• Manage daily organic social channels including Instagram and TikTok: create, plan, and schedule content while engaging with the community in the local language
• Localise blog and on-site content from the global calendar, ensuring cultural relevance and applying light on-page SEO optimisation
• Serve as the local-language quality checkpoint across all content formats and handle ad-hoc content requests, escalating to the global creative team when full production support is needed
• Develop the influencer content plan for your market, create briefings and timelines, track performance, and expand influencer partnerships
• Repurpose user-generated and creator content with proper attribution and rights clearance

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, organic social media, or a combined content and social role, ideally within e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands
• Native or near-native proficiency in a Scandinavian language plus confident English for cross-functional collaboration
• Proven ability to work within existing brand guidelines and SEO frameworks rather than building strategy from scratch
• Strong instinct for short-form, social-first content paired with solid long-form writing and editing skills
• Demonstrated localisation experience that goes beyond translation to genuine cultural adaptation
• Basic photo and video editing skills for quick social content turnarounds
• Bonus: experience collaborating with a central or global marketing function and familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, or LinkedIn for performance reporting

Pay

This role is based in Berlin with a modern office setup.
