1st & 2nd Level Support (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking a skilled 1st & 2nd Level Support specialist in Bad Homburg. Our talent team is working to fill this role with a candidate who brings strong technical support capabilities and excellent communication skills to deliver exceptional service to end users.

Responsibilities

• Receive, analyze, and resolve IT incidents and service requests at 1st and 2nd level support
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues
• Support Windows client environments, Microsoft 365 environments, and standard enterprise applications
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and assist with access-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain workstation systems and peripheral devices
• Document and process tickets, escalating complex issues as needed
• Assist with rollouts, migrations, and general IT operations tasks
• Provide remote support and occasional on-site support depending on project requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Completed IT training or comparable practical experience
• Professional experience in 1st and/or 2nd level IT support
• Strong knowledge of Windows client environments and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Active Directory or Entra ID, including user and permissions management
• Experience working with ticketing systems and structured troubleshooting methodologies
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN, WLAN, DNS, and DHCP
• Independent and solution-oriented working style
• Strong service orientation and communication skills
• Native German language proficiency
• Advanced English language skills (C1 or higher)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Intune, SCCM, or similar endpoint management solutions
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Knowledge of VPN, Citrix, Remote Desktop, or comparable remote support solutions
• Experience with hardware rollouts and migrations
