Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential observability platform company seeking Software Engineering Interns in Paris. In this role, you will contribute to production systems that process and analyze large-scale application data in real time. You'll build and improve distributed systems across backend infrastructure, developer platforms, and cloud-native services.

Your work will include:

• Contributing to systems that handle massive volumes of real-time data
• Building and scaling distributed backend and infrastructure services
• Identifying and solving performance, reliability, and scalability challenges in critical production environments
• Owning technical projects from design through deployment with mentorship from experienced engineers
• Developing hands-on expertise with technologies such as Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud-native infrastructure
• Collaborating with fellow interns and engineering teams on software that operates at global scale

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates who are:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience
• Targeting a 2027 full-time start date
• Strong in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Comfortable coding in one or more programming languages
• Excited to use AI-assisted tools to enhance software development and problem solving
• Interested in learning how AI can improve engineering practices and products
• Available to complete a 6-month internship beginning in February, March, April, May, or June 2027
