Marketing Operations Executive

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in London that is dedicated to supporting small business growth through innovative funding solutions. Our client seeks a Marketing Operations Executive to join their high-performing marketing technology team in a hybrid role requiring three days per week in their London office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing Automation and Technology, you will manage marketing logic, segmentation, and operational processes across a range of no-code tools to support customer communication goals. This is a ground-breaking role where you'll streamline campaign processes and embed cutting-edge technologies into core marketing operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support marketing audience logic, workflows, and marketing processes in team-owned platforms including CDPs, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms
• Maintain context on marketing and communications processes and goals across the organization
• Collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues including Developers, Analysts, Data Product Owners, and Channel Marketers to identify challenges and opportunities
• Solve process challenges and improve operational standards across marketing channels, ensuring the right message reaches the right customer through the right channel at the right time
• Own the reliability and documentation of processes you create and update
• Prioritize appropriate solutions, manage change initiatives, and solicit support from stakeholders
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, or control weaknesses in day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 18 months demonstrable experience working directly with platforms such as Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Marketing Automation tools, Web Tracking systems, or Email Service Providers (ESPs)
• Solid understanding of how data and logic support marketing goals and communication campaigns
• Technical and data-savvy mindset with ambition to build excellent marketing and communications processes
• Natural collaborator with ability to work through complexity to reach solutions, especially in data and platform contexts
• Comfortable working quickly with new technologies and tools in greenfield areas requiring innovative thinking
• Experience with generative and agentic AI tools is valued
• Understanding of website tag-management and web tracking is a bonus
• Growth mindset and collaborative energy
