About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Spain. This is a hands-on senior technical role focused on designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You'll work closely with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver effective platform solutions that support internal operations, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows
- Build and enhance solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, App Engine, and other platform capabilities
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions
- Develop integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, webhooks, import sets, and transform maps
- Create workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Service Catalog
- Support adoption of AI-enabled workflows with appropriate controls, testing, and monitoring
- Perform code reviews, automated testing, release validation, and troubleshooting of complex platform issues
- Support platform upgrades, production deployments, and technical documentation
- Mentor other developers and contribute to engineering standards and continuous platform improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, automate manual processes, and deliver measurable business value
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ServiceNow Studio, or App Engine Studio
- Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow product such as CSM, HRSD, SPM, or App Engine
- Experience with Virtual Agent or other ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities
- Proven experience building integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, or equivalent technologies
- Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scoped applications, ACLs, security, and development best practices
- Experience with code reviews, testing, release management, platform upgrades, and production support
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Professional proficiency in English
