International Purchasing Coordinator

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential consumer products organization in their search for an International Purchasing Coordinator based in Argentina. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic supply chain team managing global procurement operations.

As the International Purchasing Coordinator, you will establish and maintain vendor relationships while overseeing international purchasing processes across ocean and air freight channels. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and quality teams to align supply strategies with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and procure goods and services within approved budgets
• Manage and maintain databases of invoices, quote requests, and vendor contracts
• Review purchase-related documents for accuracy before accounting department submission
• Track order status and report delivery issues to supervisors
• Analyze purchasing cycles to identify operational efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities
• Coordinate inbound logistics including products, documents, duties, and delivery schedules
• Support supplier relationship management and lead commodity reviews for strategic suppliers
• Monitor and mitigate supplier capacity and supply chain risk
• Ensure compliance with international purchasing policies and controls
• Manage lean end-to-end inbound supply chain operations
• Partner with quality teams on resolution of quality and recall issues
• Collaborate on new product launches with production, design, and marketing teams
• Work with freight forwarders and finance on pricing reconciliations
• Create monthly and annual purchase reports for management review
• Oversee daily departmental workflow and schedules
• Handle factory drop-ship and private label sales coordination

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer products with international purchasing focus
• Proven experience handling international shipments via ocean freight and air freight
• Track record of leading cost savings initiatives and cross-functional teams in consumer-packaged goods
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented matrix environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong planning skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred)
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Knowledge of Incoterms preferred
• Chinese language capability is a bonus
