Solution Architect – Client Solutions (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Solution Architect to serve as the critical bridge between clients and development teams. In this role, you will spend significant time engaging directly with clients, listening carefully to understand their challenges and translating business requirements into concrete technical specifications that developers can implement.

You will design solution architectures that align with both client needs and the organization's existing system landscape. This requires thinking in systems—understanding the product architecture, client technical environments, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies, then bringing these worlds together effectively.

Your responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary interface between clients and engineering teams
• Analyzing client problems and converting functional requirements into actionable technical questions
• Designing architectures that integrate client needs with existing platform capabilities
• Engaging in technical discussions about APIs, integrations, solution approaches, and implementation impacts with development teams
• Guiding projects from initial requirements through implementation, ensuring technical concepts become functioning solutions
• Bringing clarity to complex topics by coordinating multiple stakeholders across customer, project, and engineering domains
• Maintaining oversight across several concurrent projects while providing structure to ambiguous challenges

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with:

• Completed degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, product management, software development, or similar roles at the intersection of business and technology
• Strong technical understanding of software architectures, data flows, interfaces, and API design (development background is advantageous but not mandatory)
• Exceptional client orientation with the ability to truly understand customer problems and translate functional requirements into clear, implementable technical specifications
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with engineering teams—you can discuss technical topics as peers, communicate complex matters clearly, and develop pragmatic solutions together with developers
• Interest in wealth management, financial technology, and SaaS, with willingness to deeply engage with both business and technical contexts
• Experience with agile methodologies, strong organizational skills, and ability to unite diverse stakeholders while guiding solutions through to implementation
• Native-level German proficiency required
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
