Senior Manager, Social Media Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential advertising agency seeking a Senior Manager, Social Media Management to join their Berlin team. This role sits at the heart of multi-platform brand strategy, leading TikTok-first content programs for global clients and driving creative excellence across digital channels. You'll act as a senior strategic partner to clients while mentoring team members and contributing to new business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own platform-native content strategies for key global brand accounts, defining formats, content pillars, and creative direction that drive measurable engagement and business outcomes
• Lead content planning and execution across short-form video platforms and complementary formats, ensuring every channel feels intentional and on-brand
• Manage social media across multiple brands within parent account structures, adapting global content frameworks for regional markets with particular focus on DACH
• Act as senior client partner, steering projects from briefing to delivery, proactively shaping agendas and challenging briefs that don't align with platform or audience reality
• Track, synthesize, and present performance data, translating complex analytics into sharp client-ready insights and actionable recommendations
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members and contribute to pitches and new business proposals, bringing platform expertise to grow both the team and account base

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media management with clear TikTok focus, including proven results across global or multi-market brand accounts—ideally in consumer goods, home appliances, or lifestyle hardware
• Deep understanding of TikTok: trend cycles, FYP mechanics, algorithm behavior, and the instinct to know what feels native versus what kills engagement
• Comfort operating within multi-brand account structures and familiarity with global-to-local content models, managing competing brand identities across markets without losing quality or speed
• Hands-on creative ability to concept campaign ideas and translate them into platform-native formats that resonate with audiences and impress clients
• Experience with Canva, video editing tools, social analytics platforms, and active use of AI tooling to scale your work
• Confidence leading senior client relationships, communicating platform logic clearly, managing expectations and influencing decisions at stakeholder level
• Fluency in both German and English
