Senior – Kreditrestrukturierungsspezialist im internationalen Bankensektor (m/w/d)

Our talent team is representing a confidential international banking institution in Frankfurt am Main. We are seeking a Senior Credit Restructuring Specialist to join their Risk department.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual restructuring plans, define restructuring objectives, strategies, and implementation approaches, and coordinate execution of approved plans following management approval
• Actively participate in communication discussions with all parties involved in restructuring projects to gather comprehensive information
• Analyze financial statements, restructuring plans, macro- and microeconomic data, industry-related metrics, and other non-financial indicators
• Identify and assess risks associated with potential credit transactions and credit restructurings, including repayment capacity, restructuring feasibility, and potential risk transfer
• Evaluate the authenticity and sustainability of repayment sources and the effectiveness of proposed restructuring measures
• Prepare, compile, and present due diligence and risk assessment reports with clear summaries of findings, key points, and conclusions
• Provide clear, practical, and actionable recommendations to management and credit approval committees based on due diligence findings
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence activities, including detailed background research and customer due diligence
• Ensure all due diligence activities comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and Business departments to advance credit decisions and support management in implementing post-restructuring measures
• Build and maintain relationships with external service providers, including law firms, asset management companies, and valuation firms, and coordinate external resources to support restructuring activities
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks related to restructured and non-performing loans
• Maintain continuous communication and coordination with headquarters to ensure timely policy compliance, escalation of material matters, and approval of restructuring measures

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or comparable fields of study
• Several years of professional experience in restructuring within the banking or financial sector, or with consulting firms
• Proficient use of MS Office programs, particularly Excel
• Independent and results-oriented working style
• Strong analytical skills and structured approach to problem-solving
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
