Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace organization seeking an Avionics Engineer to own the Thrust Vector Control Actuator product. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of this critical control system component, managing all associated interfaces and ensuring delivery on time, budget, and scope.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Perform unit-level tasks including design, qualification and acceptance testing, integration, and return analysis
  • Serve as product owner for PCB development, driving requirements definition, schematic capture, layout, and design verification
  • Own all product interfaces across their lifecycle, from unit to system level integration and testing, including technical and programmatic interfaces
  • Define and develop procedures for automated end-of-line testing of hardware
  • Plan and conduct vehicle integration and testing activities, both domestically and at launch facilities
  • Build and maintain automated qualification and acceptance testing infrastructure
  • Actively participate in defining avionics architecture and associated technology roadmaps

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field
  • 2+ years of working experience with electric or electrohydraulic drives
  • Excellent knowledge of power electronics and electrical machines
  • Excellent knowledge of control of electrical machines
  • Experience in verification of electrical drives
  • Experience with E-CAD tools for schematic and layout design, preferably Altium Designer
  • Experience verifying complex circuitry, such as embedded systems, DC-DC converters, and analog frontends
  • Hands-on mentality with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in electronic unit design
  • Experience with electrohydraulic systems
  • Previous product ownership experience
  • Experience in embedded software or digital design
