Senior Professional Services DevOps Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential DevOps platform organization seeking a Senior Professional Services DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This is a remote role open to candidates on the East Coast.

In this customer-facing role, you'll design and implement CI/CD pipelines, build DevOps platforms using cutting-edge technologies, and guide development teams through their DevOps transformation. You'll work directly with developers and DevOps professionals to architect solutions using binary repositories, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, and build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms for enterprise customers using modern technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, support, and development teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
• Architect and implement CI pipelines supporting multiple package ecosystems (Docker, NPM, Java, PyPI, and others)
• Configure binary repositories, distribution systems, and continuous build tooling
• Deliver training to customers and the open source community
• Provide technical feedback to influence product features and roadmap based on real-world customer requirements
• Stay current with DevOps technology trends and the evolving CI/CD landscape
• Build strong relationships with customers and community members through exceptional service delivery

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience with continuous integration tools including CI servers, Git, binary repository management, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and NPM
• Proven ability to build end-to-end software delivery pipelines supporting Docker, npm, Java, PyPI and other ecosystems
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and operations including storage, networking, compute, security, and cloud architectures (public and on-premise)
• Experience with continuous deployment and delivery tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Hands-on Linux experience (mandatory)
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (mandatory)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a track record of customer-facing engagements
• Experience with server-side software in both on-premise and cloud environments
• Software architecture design and product development experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technology
• Open source mindset and community engagement
