About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential HR technology organization in their search for a Senior Partner Manager to own and expand their partnership ecosystem across the DACH region. This senior individual contributor role offers significant autonomy—you'll inherit an established network of reseller and referral partners and transform it into a predictable revenue engine.
Based in Cologne, you'll build trusted relationships with strategic partners, create joint growth plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and recruit new high-potential partners within the HR ecosystem. You'll operate with ownership and accountability, treating the DACH partner business as your own.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the most impactful DACH partner relationships, building long-term joint business plans focused on mutual growth
- Monitor partner health, pipeline and revenue performance, identifying risks early and holding partners accountable to agreed activities
- Generate partner-sourced pipeline and revenue while improving opportunity quality and conversion rates
- Collaborate with strategic partners to analyze their customer base, identify whitespace opportunities and build actionable growth plans
- Identify, qualify and recruit high-potential new partners, particularly across the HR ecosystem, based on strategic fit and revenue potential
- Ensure new and existing partners are effectively enabled on products, ideal customer profiles and sales approaches
- Bring strong market insight to identify opportunities beyond the existing partner ecosystem and translate ideas into concrete execution
- Work closely with Sales teams, Marketing and other colleagues to improve deal execution, campaigns, enablement and pipeline quality
- Identify recurring friction in partner operations and contribute to improving playbooks, cadences and planning processes
- Travel regularly across Germany to build and maintain strong in-person partner relationships
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in partner, channel or business development roles with a proven track record of building and growing strategic partnerships
- Strong understanding of the German market with ideally an established network of relevant DACH partners
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within HR technology or an adjacent mid-market/SMB environment
- Strong commercial acumen including pipeline generation, forecasting, partner planning and performance management, with experience in reseller and/or referral models
- Strategic thinking skills—able to assess a partner portfolio, identify the biggest opportunities and make clear decisions about resource allocation
- Execution excellence: you turn ideas into structured plans, actions and measurable results
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive ownership and willingness to challenge existing assumptions
- Strong relationship-building skills while being comfortable setting expectations and addressing underperformance
- Highly organized self-manager able to prioritize effectively across a broad portfolio
- Professional fluency in German and English, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable with regular travel across Germany
