About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential robotics organization that is scaling rapidly in Munich. Our client is at the forefront of industrial automation, combining hardware, software, and AI to transform manufacturing operations. We're seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join their production team and support the buildout of advanced robotic systems.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly on the production floor, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring quality and safety as the operation scales.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day hands-on support in the production area, including inspection of non-conforming robot modules
  • Independently run small-to-medium continuous improvement projects focused on production safety, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and quality
  • Own, create, and maintain comprehensive work instructions for all internal assemblies
  • Support training documentation development
  • Support implementation of quality assurance processes and maintenance activities
  • Assist with the creation of FMEAs for new robot modules and execute resulting risk-mitigation tasks
  • Support the team during production trials and cross-functional change management processes

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar field
  • First working experience in a production environment (including internships or working student positions)
  • Strong hands-on mentality with a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving
  • Highly adaptable and willing to support a variety of projects as production scales
  • Fluent in English and German (required)
  • Nice-to-have: experience with ERP systems, time analysis, or Lean Manufacturing concepts
