Professional Services DevOps Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential DevOps platform company seeking a Professional Services DevOps Engineer to join their client-facing services team. This is a remote role open to candidates located on the East Coast.

Our client's platform is trusted by enterprise organizations worldwide to accelerate and secure software delivery. As a Professional Services DevOps Engineer, you'll work directly with their customers to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, and build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms for enterprise customers using modern technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native tools
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Development teams to ensure customer success throughout their DevOps transformation journey
• Implement CI pipelines for multiple ecosystems including Docker, NPM, Java, Python, and other package formats
• Configure binary repositories, distribution workflows, and continuous build tooling
• Provide training and guidance to customers and the open source community
• Contribute customer feedback to influence product features and roadmap decisions
• Stay current with DevOps trends and the evolving CI/CD technology landscape
• Build strong relationships with customers through direct engagement

What We're Looking For

• 5-7+ years of experience with Continuous Integration tools and workflows: CI servers, Git, artifact management, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, NPM
• Proven ability to build software delivery pipelines across multiple package ecosystems (Docker, npm, Java, Python) using various DevOps tools
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and operations including storage, networking, compute, security, and cloud platforms (both public and on-premise)
• Experience with Continuous Deployment and Delivery tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Hands-on Linux experience (mandatory)
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (mandatory)
• Customer-facing experience with excellent interpersonal and service-oriented communication skills
• Experience with server-side software deployment both on-premise and in the cloud
• Software architecture design and product development experience (a plus)
• Strong desire to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
• Open source mindset and community engagement

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $135,000 to $145,000 based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may also include discretionary bonuses, equity compensation, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs.
