VP, Clinical Operations Transformation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a VP, Clinical Operations Transformation. This is a remote leadership role based in the United States, reporting to senior clinical leadership. You will own enterprise-wide programs that transform clinical workflow, physician performance measurement, and operational efficiency across a multi-site radiology practice network.

This position sits at the intersection of clinical operations, data analytics, and strategic transformation. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle of transformation initiatives—from program design through scaled deployment, performance measurement, and executive reporting. Current priorities include physician work valuation systems, clinical performance management, and AI-enabled reading platform deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accountability for clinical transformation programs, including concept development, enterprise-scale execution, analytics infrastructure, and outcome reporting to operators and executives
• Design and operate physician performance management programs that measure and incentivize clinical, operational, and financial performance across the organization
• Lead time-based work unit (TBWU) infrastructure for physician work valuation, including strategic methodology, value allocation across procedure types, and technical implementation
• Build analytics and reporting frameworks that convert program data into actionable insights, ensuring upstream alignment across worklist, RIS, billing, and scheduling systems
• Partner with clinical, operations, finance, quality, and technology teams to align transformation programs with enterprise strategy and secure adoption in field operations
• Define success metrics and maintain consistent, defensible, and actionable measurement standards across all programs
• Lead executive reporting to C-suite leaders, practice presidents, and board members
• Build trust and influence with practice presidents, operational leaders, and physician stakeholders to drive change where measurement directly impacts physician compensation

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree or higher required
• 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, analytics, or strategy, preferably within multi-site healthcare organizations
• Working knowledge of clinical operations data systems including worklist, RIS, billing, and scheduling platforms
• Understanding of physician productivity and compensation methodologies, including RVU and wRVU systems
• Deep hands-on fluency in performance analytics, Excel, and automated analytics platforms
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling and metric design
• Management consulting toolkit spanning strategy development, implementation, and program management
• Proven ability to influence physicians and senior healthcare leaders in sensitive compensation-related initiatives
• Track record of building and leading high-performing cross-functional teams
• Experience managing change in complex, decentralized healthcare environments
