Senior Electrical Engineer

Join Mydpr as a Senior Electrical Engineer in one of our 4 locations. We're seeking an experienced electrical engineering professional to lead technical projects and drive innovation across our organization. This is a full-time role for someone with proven expertise in electrical systems design, implementation, and optimization.

Role Overview

As Senior Electrical Engineer at Mydpr, you'll take ownership of complex electrical engineering projects from conception through delivery. You'll work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and refine electrical systems and components that meet our exacting standards. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and shape the technical direction of electrical initiatives across the company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and circuit layouts using industry-standard CAD tools and simulation software
• Lead technical reviews and troubleshoot complex electrical problems, providing solutions that improve system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with product, mechanical, and software teams to integrate electrical components into broader systems
• Oversee testing, validation, and quality assurance of electrical designs to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
• Document designs thoroughly, maintain project records, and communicate technical findings to stakeholders

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with demonstrated expertise in systems design or embedded systems
• Advanced proficiency with electrical design tools (CAD, simulation, PCB design software)
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Leadership experience and proven ability to mentor and develop engineering talent
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
