About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential legal information client seeking a Content Developer with a law degree to lead regulatory content development for the Education sector. This is a fully remote or hybrid role based in Australia, with Sydney as the preferred location.
This position offers genuine flexibility and the opportunity to combine legal expertise with content strategy, customer engagement, and technology innovation. You'll shape how major organisations interpret and apply regulatory requirements, working at the intersection of law, content design, and industry insight.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of regulatory content for the Education sector, ensuring accuracy and practical application
- Translate complex legislation into clear guidance suitable for both legal and non-legal audiences
- Monitor legislative changes, regulatory developments, and emerging industry trends
- Engage directly with customers, regulators, and subject matter experts to inform and refine content
- Lead content projects from initial concept through to final delivery
- Support product, sales, and marketing teams with regulatory insights and content expertise
- Represent the organisation at events, webinars, and industry forums
What We're Looking For
- Law degree (essential) or demonstrated legal background
- Strong legal research and drafting capabilities
- Proven ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for diverse audiences
- Interest or experience in Education sector compliance or regulatory environments
- Background in Commercial Leasing, Environment, or Facilities Management highly valued
- Confident communicator comfortable with client engagement and presentations
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Proactive, curious approach with genuine interest in the Education sector
- You do not need to be a practising lawyer—many successful candidates have transitioned from legal practice into content and strategy roles
