Our talent team is representing a confidential insurance services organization seeking Remote Licensed Customer Service Representatives based in North Carolina. In this role, you'll handle inbound calls from customers regarding their insurance policies, assisting with inquiries about coverage, policy endorsements, certificates, binders, billing questions, and policy modifications. You'll manage a high volume of calls, particularly billing inquiries, and will start with billing-focused work while completing your state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer calls regarding insurance policies and coverage questions
• Assist customers with policy endorsements, certificates, binders, and modifications
• Handle billing inquiries and payment-related questions
• Navigate system tools efficiently to locate answers and policy information
• Communicate with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams with empathy and professionalism
• Complete collegiate-level coursework to prepare for your state insurance licensing exam
• Maintain video presence during training and production hours

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1-2 years of relevant customer service or call center experience
• Open availability during business operating hours
• Self-motivated learner with strong accountability and drive to excel
• Ability to complete college-level coursework for insurance exam preparation
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Hardwired high-speed internet connection at home
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace (cannot serve as primary caregiver during work hours)
• Personal computer or tablet for training (cell phones not permitted; Kindle Fire tablets excluded)
• Webcam capability for video presence requirements

Pay
