Senior Consultant·e – Data & IA

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential management consulting firm with a growing presence in Switzerland. Our client works with industry-leading organizations on strategic data and AI transformation initiatives. They are seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Swiss office and help clients unlock value through intelligent data exploitation, machine learning, and emerging technologies.

This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end data and AI projects—from business need qualification through to industrialization—while developing expertise across data architecture, data management, data science, and data engineering. You will work directly with C-level stakeholders at major organizations across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead data and AI transformation projects and programs, working autonomously or alongside senior leadership with direct client contact
• Develop and execute data and AI strategies across all business functions for enterprise clients
• Manage the full lifecycle of client data assets, including governance, quality, and compliance initiatives
• Drive business value through data applications such as fraud detection, predictive maintenance, and customer intelligence—from proof of value through production deployment
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art data and AI technologies (Generative AI, Deep Learning, MLOps, AI ethics) and implement findings for client organizations
• Manage project planning, risk, resources, and timelines while maintaining strong client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, transferring knowledge and building team capabilities
• Contribute to business development activities including opportunity identification, client pitches, and commercial proposals
• Participate in knowledge management initiatives such as thought leadership articles, speaking engagements, and internal research
• Support office development through recruiting, performance management, training delivery, or career development management

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of successful experience in data and AI transformation projects (prior consulting experience or work with large enterprises in Switzerland strongly preferred)
• Master's degree from a Swiss engineering school, business school, or university
• Strong machine learning and programming skills with demonstrated ability to industrialize solutions
• Solid understanding of one or more: data engineering, data architecture, data management
• Proven ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in multi-tasking environments
• Strong team player with leadership capabilities to federate cross-functional teams
• Excellent people management skills with a track record of developing junior team members
• Intellectual curiosity enabling rapid understanding of diverse client contexts and business models
• Sharp critical and analytical thinking combined with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Strong service orientation and commitment to excellence
• Fluent English required
