Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a well-funded SaaS company in their search for a Global Controller. This is a remote position based in the United States, reporting directly to the CFO.

Our client has built a successful technology platform serving thousands of customers worldwide. Following significant recent funding, they're positioned for their next phase of growth across multiple revenue streams, entities, and international markets. They need an experienced accounting leader to scale the controllership function through increasing complexity.

You'll lead the entire accounting organization, inheriting a strong foundation including clean audits, an established team, and a reliable close process. This is an opportunity to evolve the function to support strategic growth, potential transactions, and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the global accounting organization to support a larger, more complex multi-entity business while maintaining accuracy and strong controls
• Oversee all accounting functions including monthly close, financial reporting, global consolidations, internal controls, compliance, external audits, and tax operations
• Manage billing, collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related financial operations
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting while continuously improving efficiency and predictability of accounting processes
• Maintain controls, documentation, and processes to keep the organization ready for financing, acquisitions, and strategic transactions
• Lead teams managing the complexities of recurring revenue models and payment operations, including settlements, reconciliation, and financial controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations, Finance Systems, FP&A, and Strategic Finance
• Drive systems improvements, automation, data quality initiatives, and AI-enabled processes to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team with clear priorities and accountability

What We're Looking For

• CPA required
• 7+ years leading and scaling a controllership or accounting organization within a high-growth technology company
• Experience supporting businesses with multiple revenue streams, including both SaaS and payments
• Proven track record leading teams across financial reporting, close, audit, controls, tax, payroll, billing, collections, and finance operations
• Experience operating in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
• Demonstrated ability to improve scalability, efficiency, and predictability of accounting operations while maintaining strong controls
• Strong executive communication skills with judgment and confidence to serve as a trusted CFO partner
• Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams with clear accountability structures
• Comfortable leveraging systems, automation, data, and AI to enhance accounting operations
