Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a well-funded data infrastructure company serving Fortune 500 clients across media, retail, hospitality, and financial services. They're building performance monitoring platforms used by some of the world's largest organizations, and they need a Senior Frontend Engineer who can drive complex UI work while reaching into backend systems when features demand it.

This is a fully remote role based in France, working with a distributed engineering team across multiple countries. You'll own user-facing experiences end-to-end: TypeScript and Angular on the frontend, with the ability to ship Java endpoints when your feature needs them. This team builds with AI coding agents in the daily workflow and ships product features directly to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, data-dense interfaces including dashboards, monitoring views, large tables, and drill-down experiences that remain fast and readable at scale
• Drive component architecture, state management, and frontend performance across the application
• Build and maintain a component library using Storybook, keeping the design system coherent as the product evolves
• Write tests at every layer, including maintaining meaningful Cypress end-to-end test coverage
• Design and implement interfaces for AI-powered workflows where users direct, review, and act on LLM-driven features
• Shape the APIs you consume and implement backend changes in Java when your features require them
• Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend practices, helping the team deliver features end to end
• Work directly with product, design, and customers to decide what to build and how to build it
• Improve systems and conventions that support agentic development on the frontend

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years building frontend for production applications: complex single-page applications with real user bases
• Expert-level TypeScript and deep experience with a modern framework; Angular strongly preferred, but strong React or Vue engineers willing to work in Angular are welcome
• Demonstrated frontend craft: component architecture, state management, rendering performance, responsive design, and attention to visual detail
• Testing as a habit—you write tests including end-to-end coverage with Cypress or Playwright
• Working backend skills: ability to read and modify Java services, design APIs from the consumer perspective, and write competent SQL
• Systems insight: understanding how API design drives round-trips, data flow, and perceived latency in the UI
• Agentic engineering experience: you ship production code with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and know how to direct them while maintaining quality standards
• Independence and comfort working in a distributed, async team environment
• Fluent English

Preferred:

• Experience with data-heavy or developer-tool products: data visualization, monitoring, or analytics interfaces
• Design-system or component-library ownership experience
• Multi-tenant SaaS at scale or high-growth startup background
• Python familiarity
• Experience building AI-powered workflows into products: LLM features, tool-using agents, or AI-driven automation shipped to users
• Background in data infrastructure, data management, observability, or ML monitoring domains
