About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media and podcast production organization in Hamburg that creates high-profile business content featuring industry leaders and personalities. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Audio & Video Producer to deliver technical excellence across all production phases—from studio setup and recording to post-production and distribution.

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced producer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to shape the visual and sonic identity of a leading podcast format.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete technical workflow: studio and on-location setup, lighting, recording, high-end post-production, and final upload
• Edit and mix long-form episodes, YouTube intros, trailers, and short-form content for social platforms; create compelling thumbnails
• Maintain and evolve brand look-and-sound standards; optimize production workflows continuously
• Monitor trends, provide creative input, and drive future-focused process improvements
• Manage raw footage (backup and archiving) and mentor junior colleagues and freelancers

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in audio and video recording plus high-end post-production
• Proven expertise editing social media reels for major brands: strong hook identification, dynamic caption animation, and platform-specific storytelling
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve; solid color-grading skills
• Hands-on knowledge of cameras, lighting, and other production equipment; experience implementing AI tools
• Good audio-editing skills and a feel for sound design
• Excellent communication and a positive, collaborative presence—comfortable working with high-profile guests
• Highly organized with reliable backup practices (Google Drive, NAS) and composure under tight deadlines or spontaneous shoots
• Podcast production experience is a plus but not required
• German language proficiency required for this Hamburg-based role
