Lead Analyst, Deal Desk – Johnson and Johnson, MedTech, Electrophysiology

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Lead Analyst for our Deal Desk team to support the commercial operations of our MedTech Electrophysiology division from a remote location in the United States. This is a full-time position that combines analytical rigor with strategic commercial expertise to drive deal success and organizational efficiency.

Role Overview

As Lead Analyst on the Deal Desk, you'll serve as a central resource for evaluating, structuring, and managing complex commercial agreements that support our electrophysiology business. Your analytical insights will help leadership understand deal economics, risk implications, and compliance requirements while enabling our sales teams to close business efficiently and compliantly. You'll work at the intersection of finance, legal, and commercial strategy, bringing data-driven perspectives to critical business decisions.

Core Duties

• Analyze proposed deals and commercial terms to assess financial impact, risk exposure, and alignment with company strategy and healthcare regulations
• Provide rapid turnaround deal evaluations and recommendations to sales, legal, and executive stakeholders
• Review and model contract economics, including pricing, payment structures, and incentive arrangements
• Identify compliance considerations and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device commercialization in the electrophysiology market
• Develop and maintain deal tracking processes and dashboards to improve visibility and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in sales, legal, product, and finance to resolve deal structuring questions and implement improvements
• Document deal precedents and best practices to support institutional knowledge and consistency

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial deal analysis, contract review, or similar analytical business roles
• Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet skills with ability to communicate complex data clearly
• Familiarity with healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical commercial operations; MedTech experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of deal structure, contract risk, and compliance considerations in regulated industries
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information quickly under deadline
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment
