Technical Project Manager – Project Success

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI infrastructure organization in their search for a Technical Project Manager to join their client delivery team. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and client partnership. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and enterprise stakeholders to deliver complex AI platform implementations, knowledge systems, and secure infrastructure solutions. This is not a coordination-only role—you'll participate in design-level technical discussions, capture requirements and architectural decisions, and ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives.

Our client works with large enterprises and government organizations implementing AI systems within their own environments, often under strict data sovereignty, security, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, client stakeholders, and account teams to translate technical objectives into executable project plans
• Participate in technical discussions involving infrastructure, data architecture, security, and AI/ML systems
• Capture and track requirements, design decisions, dependencies, risks, and technical tradeoffs throughout project lifecycles
• Help clients navigate constraints around data location, access controls, on-premises deployment, air-gapped environments, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain visibility into project status, deliverables, priorities, and blockers across technical and business stakeholders
• Build trusted relationships with client teams at technical, operational, and executive levels
• Identify and drive resolution of risks, challenges, and unresolved decisions before they impact delivery
• Support transitions from implementation to operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and handoff planning
• Collaborate with account leaders to identify expansion and renewal opportunities
• Share reusable patterns and lessons learned across the delivery organization

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Experience in technical project management, technical program management, consulting, or delivery leadership in customer-facing technical environments
• Ability to participate in design-level technical conversations and accurately document requirements, decisions, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Comfort with developer tooling: reading pull requests, writing scripts, using AI coding assistants to automate workflows (Python and SQL are a plus)
• Technical breadth across multiple areas with meaningful depth in at least one: cloud or on-premises infrastructure (containers, orchestration, networking, GPU compute), data engineering and pipelines, AI/ML systems, software security and dependency management, or DevOps and platform operations
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to engineering, business, and executive audiences
• Experience coordinating work across technical teams, client organizations, and business partners
• Track record identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and success criteria
• Experience working within enterprise environments involving security reviews, restricted access, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent written communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical domains
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related technical field
• Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Fortune 50 or other large enterprise clients
• Background in financial services or highly regulated industries
• Experience guiding projects from discovery through implementation and operational handoff
• Consulting or professional services background

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $120,000 - $150,000 USD annually, dependent on experience level and location.
