Frontend Web Software Engineer, NGC

About This Role

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Frontend Web Software Engineer to join their cloud platform team. This is a core position working on foundational user experiences for enterprise cloud services. You'll collaborate with architects, designers, and backend engineers to deliver modern, secure interfaces for a rapidly evolving platform.

Our client is building the next generation of essential cloud-based services, and this role focuses on web applications built with React.js using modern component-based architectures. The ideal candidate brings a growth mindset and leverages AI tools to enhance development effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement critical features for core cloud services, including Identity and Access Management, user and group management, account security, credentials, and billing flows
• Develop unified portal interfaces that serve as gateways for multiple cloud products
• Apply AI tools and agents to improve code quality, accelerate development, and increase system stability
• Drive evolution of application architecture and development patterns for increasingly complex components
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to translate complex requirements into elegant, responsive user interfaces
• Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle including planning, documentation, code review, and technical insights
• Estimate timelines and coordinate work to deliver results effectively
• Present work and research to colleagues across the organization

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant frontend development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience as a contributor to medium-to-large scale frontend web applications
• Hands-on experience with React.js or comparable frameworks (Vue.js, SvelteKit, Angular)
• Demonstrated skill in developing refined, responsive user interfaces
• Ability to engage with technical requirements, understand complex systems, and deliver coded solutions
• Experience building meaningful tests using established patterns
• Open attitude about sharing work-in-progress and developing ideas collaboratively
• Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and client-side application ecosystems

Nice to have:

• Experience leading software development at project or component level on large, complex web applications
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Webpack bundle configuration, and testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Jest)
• Backend development experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages
• Experience delivering software in cloud environments and managing cloud infrastructure
• Interest in Kubernetes, cloud-native computing, JavaScript modules, accessibility, and modern CSS/layout techniques
