Cloud Integrations Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization in their search for a Cloud Integrations Engineer. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to support customer migration initiatives and ensure successful cloud-based transitions. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver migration services to meet our client's integration strategy and customer requirements
• Triage incoming migration requests and plan technical requirements with cross-functional teams
• Serve as a technical escalation point for the Cloud Integration team to resolve customer migration and integration challenges
• Collaborate with Operations, Infrastructure, and Development teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain ownership of project tickets within your area of responsibility
• Follow established best practices for service management and deliver superior customer service
• Own ticket escalations and ensure consistent follow-through on all customer issues
• Mitigate migration-related incidents and problems proactively
• Coordinate with vendors for support needs and escalate customer tickets as appropriate
• Enhance team efficiency by taking ownership of new requests and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Handle all company data and information in accordance with established policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
• 4+ years of recent hands-on experience as an enterprise VMware administrator
• Extensive knowledge and experience using VMware management tools (vCenter, vCloud Director, VMware Configuration Manager)
• Working experience managing scalable, highly available, mission-critical virtualized VMware infrastructures
• Experience implementing and managing multiple virtual environments
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, and AWS
• Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services such as BaaS, IaaS, and DRaaS
• 4+ years of experience in technical support with extensive hands-on troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills with a high-energy, positive attitude and aptitude for professional growth
• Detail-oriented and goal-driven with demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills
• Ability to pursue positive outcomes independently
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
