Working Student IT Strategy & Governance (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential consumer technology organization in Berlin. We're seeking a motivated working student to join their IT Strategy & Governance function, supporting sustainable growth through thoughtful technology stewardship.

You'll work closely with enterprise architects, IT governance analysts, and security specialists to help define IT strategy, standards, and guardrails. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise architecture, software governance, and security compliance in an international environment—ideal for someone building a career in IT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate system landscapes for strategic alignment and scalability
• Support strategic IT initiatives across master data management, licensing, and commerce platforms
• Maintain enterprise architecture documentation using modern tooling
• Pre-qualify new software requests and advise cross-functional stakeholders (IT, procurement, legal)
• Manage application portfolio data including ownership, criticality scoring, costs, and usage metrics
• Support software license renewal planning and optimization
• Develop and iterate security awareness training modules for staff
• Contribute to ISO 27001, ITIL, and general compliance initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field)
• Strong interest in IT architecture, enterprise security, and governance standards
• Thoughtful approach to technology—"Think First, AI Second" mindset
• Familiarity with productivity suites (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)
• Structured, reliable, detail-oriented with ownership mentality
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Fluent German required; English is a plus
• Authorized to work as a student in Germany
