Senior Engineer (m/w/d) — On-Site & Vollzeit

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization based in Munich that is transforming how businesses access financial solutions. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a small, experienced technical team working on business-critical systems. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring presence in the Munich office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate reliable, maintainable software solutions for production environments
• Own important projects from problem definition through implementation to ongoing operations
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and translate business and product requirements into effective, pragmatic technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with product teams, leadership, and internal and external stakeholders
• Support other developers and contribute to evolving technical standards and working practices

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong initiative, critical thinking, clear prioritization, and the ability to drive topics independently to completion
• Curiosity and motivation to acquire missing knowledge autonomously
• Solid foundation in software engineering with practical experience developing and operating production systems
• Ability and willingness to work primarily on-site in the Munich office

Beneficial:

• Professional German language skills
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments
• Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, AWS, Docker, Node.js, React, GraphQL, serverless or event-driven architectures
• Experience working in small teams with broad individual responsibility
