Senior AI Architect & Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential software consultancy specializing in generative AI solutions. In this senior role, you will architect and deliver production-grade AI systems from concept through deployment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing enterprise AI architectures using LLMs, agentic RAG, and AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, PydanticAI, or similar technologies
• Building evaluation pipelines and observability solutions with logging and tracing tools
• Working with MLOps stacks and vector databases to support scalable AI infrastructure
• Creating solution architectures that address security, compliance, scalability, and data privacy requirements
• Leading technical workshops and deep-dive sessions with client stakeholders
• Supporting pre-sales activities with technical credibility and solution design
• Communicating technical concepts effectively to C-level executives, translating AI capabilities into business value
• Traveling 4–8 days per month within Germany, and occasionally to Austria and Switzerland

Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to active client projects, with the remainder split between pre-sales workshops, strategic support, and internal collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience as an architect or senior engineer, ideally within consulting or professional services
• Proven project experience implementing agentic AI beyond prototypes—production work with LangChain, LangGraph, deep agents, or comparable depth in TypeScript (Mastra) or Microsoft ecosystems (Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry)
• Hands-on knowledge of vector databases and MLOps practices
• Ability to clearly communicate AI concepts and architectures to both technical and business audiences
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to sketch solutions during client conversations
• Comfort engaging with C-level stakeholders, understanding business objectives, and translating technical solutions into economic impact
• Fluent German (C1 or higher) and conversational English
